Amaretti and Baci di Dama are a piece of art as far as confectionery is concerned, it's a tribute to the accuracy and the genuiness of the original authentic recipe, to which every ingredient is carefully and rigorously selected and controlled.

Sergio Rippa was no more than a boy when he started working for the confectionery master in Tortona, where he created Baci di Dama.

Not quite fourteen, Sergio started learnign confectionery art from that Master, scrupulous, whit accuracy and strict discipline, that among the large wooden ovenis, antic copper cauldronis and impressive stoves used, teachs his dediction and passion for this profesion.

In 1958 Sergio and his brother opened a confectionery business in Sale, and the famous Baci di Dama became well know.

These products are assigned for pastry lovers, traditionally genuine as for personal use, as for a tender gift, because every Bacio or Amaretto is made to remember for its taste.

The Rippa Pastry shop makes its Baci di Dama and Amaretti handicraft, with one limit: the quantity made daily, just to mantain unchanged the characteristics for this little piece of art designed for the taste of a limited number of connoisseurs.
